Our very own in the Grey Lady

Seeing as conversation has already begun in the comments section below "Little Boxes," thought I'd alert our readers that our very own Ed Blum is featured as the lead Op-Ed in today's New York Times.  The link is here.

Oh, and if you hadn't heard yet, Ed published a book recently...what's it called again?

  3. Too bad Mr. Blum and his NYT Op-Ed coauthor perpetuated confusion about women's external genitalia: the correct term for this body part is vulva, not vagina. Vulva is to vagina as mouth is to esophagus, guys . . . Not too many porn photos (from which the artist lifted the images) feature actual vaginas.

So while I can confess that Ed has been confused about female reproductive organs for a long, long time, I nevertheless think the spirit of intellectual generosity and constructive criticism should dominate here...something maybe like, "great piece in the New York Times, but one quick correction: you seemed to mistake a vagina for a vulva," or something. Anyway, thanks for the clarification.
